Legal Age of Matrimony:

You are of legal marriageable age as per the laws of your country of residence and nationality. (e.g., At least 18 years of age for women and 21 years of age for men under Bangladeshi law).

Legal Capacity:

You are legally competent to enter into a binding contract and are not prohibited by any local, state, or international law, or any court order, from entering into matrimony.

Marital Status:

You are legally Single, Divorced, Widowed, or Annulled. If you are Divorced or Annulled, you must possess the final dissolution decree from a competent court of law.

Intent:

You are registering on the Platform solely for the purpose of finding a life partner for a legal, recognized marriage. You are not using the Platform for casual dating, illicit relationships, commercial solicitation, or any other purpose.

Truthfulness of Data:

You agree to provide true, accurate, current, and complete information during registration. Falsifying your age, marital status, physical attributes, financial status, or educational/professional qualifications (e.g., falsely claiming a specific degree like MBBS, PhD, Takmil, or O/A Levels) is a material breach of these Terms. We reserve the right to request documentation (such as educational certificates or government ID) at any time to verify the accuracy of your profile. Failure to provide such documentation may result in account suspension.

Account Security:

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials (username, password, OTPs). You agree to immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.

Single Account Policy:

You may create only one account for yourself (or one account on behalf of a specific relative, provided you explicitly select the correct "Profile Created By" option). Creating multiple accounts, dummy accounts, or acting as an unauthorized commercial broker on our site is strictly prohibited.

Profile Ownership:

If you create a profile on behalf of a sibling, child, or friend, you warrant that you have their explicit consent to do so and to share their personal data.

Intermediary Status:

marriagecarebd.com acts purely as an intermediary software platform providing a digital space for individuals to connect. We are not a traditional marriage bureau, agent, or broker.

No Guarantee of Match:

We do not guarantee or promise that your use of the Platform will result in a successful match, engagement, or marriage.

No Background Verification Guarantee:

While we offer a "Verified Badge" (which merely indicates that a user has uploaded a Government ID matching their profile name and date of birth), we do not conduct comprehensive background checks, police verifications, or financial audits of our members. You are solely responsible for conducting your own independent verification before committing to any relationship or marriage.

Harass or Abuse:

Engage in stalking, bullying, intimidation, or sending offensive, defamatory, or obscene messages to other members.

Commit Financial Fraud:

Request money, loans, or financial assistance from other members under any pretext (e.g., medical emergencies, travel expenses, visa sponsorships).

Solicit Dowry:

Demand or discuss "Dowry" (Joutuk), which is illegal in many jurisdictions and strictly violates our community guidelines.

Commercial Use:

Promote businesses, MLM schemes, campaigns, or sell products/services to other members.

Transmit Malware:

Upload viruses, malicious code, or use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to harvest data from the Platform.

Share Inappropriate Content:

Upload photos or texts that are sexually explicit, violent, politically extremist, or infringe on the intellectual property of others.

Assumption of Risk:

You assume all risks associated with interacting with other members, both online and offline.

Safe Practices:

We strongly advise you to keep communications on the Platform until you are fully comfortable. If you decide to meet another member offline, you do so at your own risk. Always meet in public places and inform your family or friends of your whereabouts.

Platform Immunity:

Marriage Care BD shall not be held liable for any physical, emotional, or financial harm resulting from your interactions with other users, whether online or in person.

Premium Services:

Certain features (e.g., unlocking phone numbers, direct messaging, advanced filtering) require a paid Premium Subscription.

Payment Processing:

All payments must be made through our authorized, secure third-party payment gateways. You agree to provide valid billing information. We do not store your payment card details and are not liable for any errors, delays, or data breaches caused by these third-party processors.

Strict No-Refund Policy:

All membership fees, subscription charges, and payments are final and non-refundable. We do not offer refunds if you find a partner quickly, change your mind, or fail to find a match. We do not offer refunds if your account is suspended or terminated due to a violation of these Terms. Exceptions are strictly limited to technical billing errors (e.g., double-charging), which must be reported within 7 days of the transaction.

Auto-Renewal:

If you enroll in an auto-renewing subscription, your payment method will be charged automatically at the end of the billing cycle. You must cancel the subscription through your account settings at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid further charges.

Your Content:

By uploading photos, bios, and other personal data, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sub-licensable license to host, store, display, and reproduce this content on the Platform solely for the purpose of providing matchmaking services to you. You represent and warrant that you are the creator and owner of all uploaded content (including photographs) and that your content does not violate the privacy or intellectual property rights of any third party.

Platform IP:

All text, graphics, logos, algorithms, matchmaking logic, UI/UX designs, and software code on the Platform are the exclusive intellectual property of Marriage Care BD and are protected by international copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or distribute our intellectual property without written permission.

Content Moderation:

We reserve the right, but have no obligation, to monitor, review, edit, or remove any User content that we determine, in our sole discretion, violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable, without prior notice to you.

YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE PLATFORM;

THE CONDUCT, CONTENT, OR ACTIONS OF ANY THIRD PARTY OR OTHER MEMBER (INCLUDING DEFAMATORY, OFFENSIVE, OR ILLEGAL CONDUCT);

ANY UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO YOUR DATA.

Your violation of these Terms and Conditions;

Your use of the Platform;

Your violation of any rights of another person (including intellectual property or privacy rights);

Any interactions, disputes, or agreements you have with other members.

Termination by You:

You may delete or deactivate your account at any time via your user dashboard.

Termination by Us:

We reserve the right to instantly suspend, deactivate, or permanently terminate your account, without prior notice and without refund, if we determine, in our sole discretion, that you have: (a) Breached any provision of these Terms; (b) Provided false or misleading information; (c) Received multiple complaints from other users; (d) Engaged in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal behavior.

Governing Law:

These Terms and your use of the Platform shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Bangladesh, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Amicable Settlement:

In the event of any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of these Terms, the parties shall first attempt to resolve the matter amicably through good-faith negotiations by contacting our legal team.

Arbitration/Jurisdiction:

If the dispute cannot be resolved amicably within thirty (30) days, it shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Dhaka, Bangladesh or shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
